Regional Presets
Save consistent sets of location, language, and time-zone values.
What a Regional Preset stores
A Regional Preset stores:
- coordinates,
- geolocation accuracy,
- the maximum distance between the saved and reported coordinates,
- the locale used for regional formatting,
- an ordered language list,
- the option to prefer English-language content,
- a time zone.
Protection settings are not part of a Regional Preset. Configure them in a Domain Rule, the Default Rule, or a Firefox Container.

Create a preset
- Open Regional Presets.
- Select Generate preset or Add manually.
- Enter the coordinates and geolocation settings.
- Set the locale, languages, and time zone.
- Save the preset.
Place search and the map require separate consent. You can enter the values manually without contacting those services.
Use a preset
You can assign one preset to several Domain Rules. You can also select it in the Default Rule or a Firefox Container.
Editing a saved preset affects every assignment that uses it.
Delete a preset
Privacy Thing blocks deletion while a preset is assigned to a Domain Rule, the Default Rule, or a Firefox Container. The editor lists those assignments.
Change or remove every assignment first. Then open the preset again and select Delete.
After you remove every assignment, deleting the preset removes only the preset.
