Turn Privacy Thing off

What global turn-off does

Turn off Privacy Thing temporarily disables the extension on every site.

It does not delete Regional Presets, rules, or settings.

Turn Privacy Thing off

1. Open the extension popup.
2. Select Turn off Privacy Thing.
3. Reload tabs that were already open.

A reload is necessary because the current document may already have read browser data or started browser functions.

Turn Privacy Thing on again

1. Open the extension popup.
2. Turn Privacy Thing on.
3. Reload tabs that were already open.

After the reload, Privacy Thing resolves and applies your saved configuration again.

When one site has a problem

Global turn-off affects every site.

If a problem affects one host, adjust its Domain Rule or add the appropriate pattern to Trusted Sites.
